What’s On 2025-10-24

Here’s what’s on FABULOUS 4LEGS Radio

7am – 9am The Pete Brady Breakfast Show

Another “start your day bright” Breakfast Show. This week’s Featured Artist is The Righteous Brothers who were nominated twice for a Grammy and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Rolling Stone ranked them no. 16 on its list of the 20 Greatest Duos of All Time. Don’t miss it!

9am – 11am Yabber Yabber with Chris Capel

Chris chats to Will Puxley of Welford Park about this year’s “Spectacle of Light” (pic)  which opened last weekend.  It’s a truly wonderful family event without the commercialisation of some of the other illumination shows. Also, on Yabber Yabber this week is “Business Matters” which has some of the stories during the past 7 days of the UK economy. Plus, Chris takes a look at what was making the headlines on this ‘Day in Music’ history. Enjoy folks!

11am – 11.30am Soul Medicine with Carolyn Anne Sykes

Carolyn interviews Susie Bartle (pic right) of ‘Well-Spirited PR’ https://www.wellspiritedpr.co/ who helps people like Carolyn that have positive empowering messages to get their messages out there.

11.30am - 12noon This Week with Penny & Brian

Tune in for Penny and Brian’s round up of local news and the usual deep dive into some of the issues behind the headlines.

12noon – 12.30pm The Downlands Racing Show with Chris Carter Brennan

Chris reviews last Saturday’s ‘Champions Day’ at Ascot and previews this weekend’s action which includes the first jumps fixture of the new season at Cheltenham (pic).

12.30pm – 1.30pm Pop Quizzical with Tim Stutt

It’s the fortnightly popular music Quiz hosted by the 4LEGS regular ‘Pop Master’ Tim Stutt.

1.30pm - 3.30pm Face2Face with Tim & Linda Forrester

On this week’s Face2Face, Tim and Linda find out some facts about Abba, review the visit of some rather large Japanese men, admire two record breaking rowers and catch up on the story of three young chicks preparing to try their very first flight from a skyscraper. We also check out what happened at two little known national championships. The music ranges from Sam Ryder to the Beatles and from Van Morrison to Sam Fender.

3.30pm - 5.20pm The Retro Radio Show with Andy Henly

Join Andy Henly for the Retro Radio show and Share your memories on Facebook.com forward slash Retro Radio Show.

This week’s School Days Challenge tackles the subject of English and ‘Lost TV’ remembers a special kind of traveller. There’s also the usual 2 x 12 inch remixes. Finally, Help compile Andy’s Mix Tape with your choice of classic song, tell us why it should be on it and we’ll do the rest.
